Cheque Book Request
If your last checkbook is fully finished and you want a new one, you can request for it by giving a missed call or sending an SMS ‘CHQREQ’ to 09223588888.
After that, you will receive an SMS containing a ‘number.’ Now you have to send an SMS CHQACCY6 ‘number you received’ to 09223588888. You have to send this number in 2 hours for further processing.
This is a much better option than standing in a line on your bank for several hours just to get a new checkbook.
E-Statement
If you want more detailed information about your account’s statement, you can request an E-Statement that will include transactions of the last six months.
You need to have an Email id registered with your account for this service as you will receive your desired information there. The information will come in an encrypted password file.
You can choose the password yourself.

This certificate will also come with a four-digit password of your choice.

Home Loan Interest Certificate
This certificate also has the same benefit as the Education Loan Interest Certificate. You can claim tax deduction up to two Lakh R.S. under section 24.

There is also an option for you to get the latest information related to Home or Car loans through SMS. To use this feature, you can send an SMS HOME or CAR to 09223588888; after that, you will get all the details related to this service.

Generate ATM Pin
Generating a new ATM pin through SMS is quite easy and fast; you just have to follow the given instructions.
First, send an SMS Last four digits of your ATM card<Last four digits of your account number> to 567676. Now, you will receive an OTP on your registered phone number.
You can use this OTP to create a new PIN at any SBI ATM. This OTP will be valid for two days, but I recommend you should create a new PIN as soon as possible.
Deregistering SBI Missed call and SMS Service

If you don’t need to use this service anymore want to deregister your number with this service, there is a very simple way to do it.
